Prof. Finn reviews attempts to address this issue through greater understanding the structural basis for penetration and the identification of rules for the聽regions of chemical property space that are compatible with antibacterial activity.
Our own work, building machine learning models based on 3D molecular representations from a ligand-based perspective, is also considered.
